    Acid Tears

Down upon my dry sadden moist seeking skin
came the rain to wash my red-eyed acid tears
away. The sky above refreshing my once pale
face like a priest purifying a newborn baby. A
new life with new goals and dreams. Each
blessed droplet filling my liquid thoughts, no
shape no consistent volume, nor color just a
rapid ever-changing pool of psychedelic feelings
which i have not yet to swim in.
Impossible? Maybe, what with the raging waves
subsiding me into the depths of my soul. Blood
beating thru my veins like the drums of war.
oxygen hesitating within my drenched lungs,
but a sudden calm, slowly takes over me, drums
find a steady pace, air finds its way. My eyes
open i pull the sheets over my head close my
eyes and doze of once more
