    It stands untouched

    It stands untouched, unheard, unseen
No structure nor foundation to redeem
No horizon to reach nor shadow to follow
    An infallible philanthropic phenomenal phantom
That we all seem to faithfully and blindly swallow
Miscellaneous in costume and random in anthem
Unquestioned by most and uncontested by far
As we stay a float claiming to rediscover who we are
This uncanny force has taken over us from head to toe
But its not as righteously utopian as we believe it so
    Morally misunderstood and conveniently interpreted
Its absurd how we stubbornly disregard the pain its
    Averted

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
