    Actions More Than Words

    Now I am done
    Farewell
I've said what I have come to say
And now there is nothing left to be said
    Anything more would be meaningless
    Words used become useless
    The point has been made
    My time here is over
Oblivion lies beyond our last breath
    Oblivion exists beyond existence
    We are all Self-mutilators
    We are all Sadomasochists
We live to inflict pain on others
Or to have the pain inflicted on us
    Life is hell
Yet we cling to it for dear life
I once feared losing my consciousness
But now I beg for it
    Zero consciousness awaits
    Death is freedom
    Actions more than words

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
