Aged

Last night I aged,
I aged overnight.
without any anger,
without any fright.

Last night I aged,
I aged as I slept.
I dreamed of the road
on which that I stepped.

I road on a path,
that made a career,
I drove the car,
though I couldnt steer.

I could have steered,
the fact is I didnt.
I aged overnight,
I lost every minute.

The reason I aged,
is the same for us all.
Some learn to walk,
some climb and fall.

My face shows the age,
that I aged overnight.
without any anger,
without any fright.
