    AM BREAKING

Every time I watch the stars

I see the twinkle in your eyes

Am reminded of the many memories we shared,

    Every time I look up

I see the moon smiling down at me

And am reminded of your laughter

    But…………………….

    My heart is aching,

    My soul is dying

    And am breaking

    I’ve loved a million times

And this heart has crashed many times

    I’ve played many love games

And this soul has lost many times

    That’s why…………….

    My heart is aching,

    My soul is dying

    And am breaking

Today I hoped would be different

That the sun would finally shine

And that I would not crash again

That the tears would finally mend

And that the pain would finally fade

    But………

    My heart is still aching,

    My soul is dying

    And am breaking

When I saw your comment and thought about what you said I had to look at your work and I saw AM BREAKING, I know you understand and you so effortlessly and simplistically riddle of the pain of your heart...Been there done it still doing it and God how how you have blessed me because I know someone truly understands! I give you a ten mami!

You display strong feelings in this piece, KG. Realizing a situation is wrong for you is the first (and most difficult) step toward correcting it. The emotion and intelligence shown in this work tell me you're already aware of that. Great work!

    thanx chaos128....

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
