An Ending
I hate this feeling of hurt
a looming presence of love
as it takes hold of my soul
fear and confusion becoming my breath
not able to break this last hold
i cry out my sanity
praying for a bit of humanity
watching my heart slip away
yet i am still whole
once i am free i'll be in peace
then will i truelly be me
