    Poem Commentary

    Dedacated to Brett W. Miller (June 26, 1982-February 25, 2006) and to Tina L.Taylor (July 31, 2002-February 25, 2006) Two people that i will forever keep in my heart. Even though they are not related to me, they were still apart of my family.

    ASCENDING

    Though I lived a Happy life

    I can not help it that I cry

    I'm leaving behind all my loved ones

    Leaving them with pain and sorrow

    I just want them to know

    there is alway tomorrow

    As they shed their tears for me

    I want them to know I'm not in misery

    I'll soon be meeting the Heavenly Father

    I'm ascending to a higher ground

    Try not to cry to much for me

    Don't live in complete misery

    I love you and always will

    I'll wait for you to join me too

    Till then live out your life happily

    And every now and then think of me

    May tears of joy fall form you face

    And I'll be waiting here saving your place
