Another Day in the Coffee Shop

    The holidays are upon us
    And still I see those
    Who enter the Coffee Shop
    Many are smiling and laughing
    With loved ones and friends
    Many come alone smiling
But with great sadness and loneliness
    The eyes tell there story
    A story like mine
    To live again
    In another place and time.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
