    Balance

There is no good without an evil,
there is no life without death.
There is no rich without a poor,
(and rich is your best bet)
There is no hot without a cold,
there is no up without a down.
There are no kings without peasants,
(and the help of a gold crown)
If the world fell out of balance,
would it go for better or worse?
You can't have one without the other,
or that's what I've heard, of course.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
