Given the same circumstances
Same truths
Same friends
Same everything

Exactly as I am?
Could you make everything fine and dandy?
Make me a better person as a whole?
If so, then be my guest

Who I am right now
I don't know how I'll change in the future
I don't pretend to
I don't pretend to always be right
I don't pretend to be perfect
I don't pretend I know what'll happen tomorrow
I just try to make the best of it.
Look at me
I know I am overwhelming
I know I'm obnoxious
I know I'm a bitch
I know I've made wrong decisions
I know I'm not white
I know I'm not a superb singer
I know I'm not an amazing actress
I know I'm not a hero
I know I'm not a child prodigy
I know I'm not your ideal friend
But I know I am special
Perhaps not to you, but to someone.
I know I am unique.
I know I've made right decisions
I know I am doing my best
To make the most of this life.
I don't understand your decisions
But I wish you'd let me try
Especially when they effect me
When they make me sad
When I have to hold back the tears.
Look at me for who I am
Respect me as a human being
Don't treat me like a child
Because I'm not a child
I may be young but I shouldn't be underestimated
Don't worry, I know
This is uncalled for
Unnecessary
But how else am I supposed to express myself?
Just look at me
Give me your honest opinion of me
Don't hide from me
