    Poem Commentary

    This is a poem i wrote for my son Sgt. David M Landeck Jr.  and his friend Joel. Both Skydiving instructors killed in plane crash..

    Blue SKies

    BLUE SKIES

     

    THEY SAY IT’S FUNNY HOW TIME FLYS

    IT’S BEEN TWO YEARS

    AND THOUGHTS OF YOU

    STILL BRINGS TEARS TO OUR EYES

     

    GOD HAS BLESSED THE SOULS

    OF OUR SON’S DAVID AND JOEL

    FOR A MOTHER, LIFE WITHOUT HER SON

    MAKES ONE FEEL LESS THAN WHOLE.

     

    A MOTHERS LOVE FOR HER SON

    CAN NEVER DIE

    WITH OUR MEMORIES

    OF YOU BOTH

    FLOATING LIKE ANGELS

    IN THE SKY

     

    WE SAY WITH TEARS IN OUR EYES

    WE LOVE AND MISS YOU OUR SON’S

     

    BLUE SKIES

    Many of our poems are about something we have lost. The loss of a child is the supreme loss and it always stays with you. God bless you and beleive you will be together again one day. It is that hope that gets us through

    Beautiful poem in honor of your son...the best work is always the bittersweet that comes from your heart, I too know of the loss of a child, God Bless you and bring healing love to you again one day...

    Thank you and yes writing does seem to help with alot.

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
