Break Up Poem
I'm tired ofall the lies
that come
my way
the hateful
speech that
does the same
the love that
surrounded us
faded away...
What has happened
to our
precious ways
of life?
I'm tired
of all
the hidden truths
that lie
beneath this earth.
Why cant you
just be honest
and tell me
the truth
You heart is
cold as ice,
you'll hurt me again
I can't trust
the one I love
or loved.
Why does it
have to end
with you in
handcuffs
for beating me?
Why does it
have too end
with a broken
heart?
Yes, I know
life isn't fair
but to
understand
my view
its not the
same anymore
I don't know
if I love you.
Life is hectic
and I can't
stop it,
can't trust it,
nor deal with it.
Why do you
insist on
making me
cry?
Why do you
insist in hurting me
emotionally and
physically?
This must
stop now!
