    CAN YOU IMAGINE

Imagine the feel of his lips,
As they brush against your cheek.
And his hands upon your hips,
How you suddenly feel so weak.
Imagine the look in his eyes,
As he slowly pulls you so near.
And he swears there'll be no lies,
How you say you do not fear.
    Imagine you and him togehter,
As the sun takes its rest.
And when he promises you forever,
How you cuddle so closly abreast.
Can you imagine you with him,
As you awake and hear I love you?

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
