    CANDLED CUP

    the candled cup

    its spice

    confined it must be

    burned to release

    its inner scent

    die unfulfilled

    Burned

    so that all

    can benefit from

    its aroma

    share

    with others the

    kind pleasantries

    of peaceful moments

    The candled spice

    its fragrance ---

    day's whisper

    into evening's rage

    night's comfort

    into dawn's musings

    of mortal might

    Bind me, dear servant

    within the pyramid PEACE

an eager to light the spiced

    candled cup

    guide my path

    to evermore.
