Lord, l need some direction of where I'm going and where I need to be.  How did I get here?  What caused me to neglect you? Whatever the cause, it had an effect.  Why can't I utter a prayer or a plea?  Why can't I see in my spiritual mirror, the woman you designed me to be?  Why can't I smile even when I'm happy?  Whatever the cause, it had an effect.  Why do I walk tall when inside I'm a dwarf?  Why do I say,"I am fine...", when my heart has fallen to the floor?  Why do I keep chasing dreams that is so far out of my reach?  Why do I keep running from the very place I need to be?  Whatever the cause it had an effect.  God you caused me to be who I am in order to effect those around me. You placed me in the wilderness to rely on you and to receive your goodness.  The cause: to be empty, desolate, seperated.  The effect: to know God that you are everything I need and want. No matter what I'm going through, your plan is to make me stronger, wiser, richer and better.  Remember whatever causes you have, your effects are to help those around you.
