    • "Morning without you is a dwindled dawn." -E. Dickinson

    Chamenos

    Though time has faded
    and life seems so lost
    I'd still say yes again
    to the one I lost,

    The winters are cold now
    and the summers are hot
    I welcome the new
    and remember the lost,

    You seem so forgotten
    you seem so far
    like you never were
just a dream lost in my heart,

    Though time has faded
    and life seems so lost
    I'd still say yes again
    to the one I lost.

Can't say enough about how well this poem was written. I was drawn into the passages from the very first stanza on. 10 from me.

another unrequited love......at your age you feel it so deeply, at my age it is but a constant small ache that you can never quite forget, but the loss is no less great.....a good job on an over worked theme
