One day goes by
with never asking why.
Sudden changes in life
bring us close together.
Though being torn apart
keeping us close at heart,
with never asking why.
September 11,
came and went
now our lives so bent.
Day by day and
night by night,
new lives are born
yet still we mourn.
Another day goes by
with now asking why.
We were once strong,
now we are stronger.
One day goes by
