    You and River

    You whisper like the
    river on a cool
    spring day.

    The sweet sounds
    of pitter-pat, pitter-pat
    roam the darkness
    of the woods.

    Like the river
    after a storm,
    so do the
    falls of your voice
    against the rocks.

    A baby fawn too
    hears the pitter-pat, pitter-pat
    of the river wild.
    You watch in awe
    as his sweet breath
    fills the morning air.

    So again you whisper
    like that river on
    a cool spring day.

    Stillness fills the air
    as you whisper & hear
    the pitter-pat, pitter-pat
    of the newly falling rain,
    on that cool spring day.

    The woods are
    no longer at war,
    yet are at peace
    with your whispers,
    the sweet sounds
    of pitter-pat, pitter-pat
    from the river below,
    and the sweet breath
    of the baby fawn.

    And again you
    and the river wild,
    are at peace.

I love great poems on nature this is my home place to be when I want to get away I love the mountains and the fresh aroma it brings and water just opens me up to write I enjoyed your pease and how you explained how the stillness fills the air.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
