    Cheryl

It seems in this life that there are some things that matter most
And as I sip my glass of wine I’d like to send you a toast.

You are, were and always will be my dearest friend
And I know in my heart that this a beginning and not and eternal end

Knowing you has been a pleasure
One that I truly and will always treasure!

Our bond a strong one and our friendship stood the test of time
I was your best friend and you were mine.

We’ve shared much laughter and many tears
Had an unbreakable closeness and managed to work through our fears.

Without a doubt and always unconditionally,
You stood strong and were there for me…you loved me!!

And now that you have moved on
It’s hard for me to think of you as gone.

In my own selfishness I am burdened with sadness!
Because I’m gonna miss you! I’m gonna miss your smile and your crazy ways

I’m gonna miss our unfulfilled dreams, our unspoken secrets, your cooking and those lazy days

In my reality, I am glad for you – no more suffering baby girl!
So shine on and enjoy your new world!

I just wanted you to know that I love you!
And these words I say couldn’t be any more true!!
I Love You Cheryl – my friend!
No matter where you are or what you’re doin’

I will take rest in knowing that there’s nothing greater than Gods’ grace, mercy and Love
He called you home and now you’re in the Heavens high above.

Go and be at peace. Smile. Be free.
Continue to be wonderful and amazing and don’t you forget about me.

For now and until we meet again
I will cherish the memories of you – my best friend!!

    yes...love

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
