    Children of the nation

    Children of the nation

    All the little children
    of the nation.
    So many dieing of
    starvation.
    I've heard it said,
    we have to keep our
    countrie's feed.
    Oh you of little faith,
    Would any body
    take their place?
    When we forget the children
    of the nation,
God's not happy with his creation...

When we forget our children, there is not future. It becomes a sad state of affairs. ~Pamela

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
