    Chosen, Shadow, and the void.

    There is a beautiful valley.

    I call this valley Shadow.

    Shadow is my valley.


    When the flood comes in, it washes away Shadow.

    Everything falls apart.

    My valley is dark.

    Shadow has a monster.

    The monster is named void.

    Void is Shadow's lover.

    Void hates to be warm.



    Void destroys Shadow a little every day with emptiness.

    Void never lets Shadow feel the warmth of the sun.

    The sun does not shine on Shadow, without the interference of void.

    Another lives in Shadow.

    This other's name is chosen.

    Chosen came to Shadow and extended a helping hand..

    And then shadow................

    I like this. Life veiled in poetic mystery, left for the reader to only guess at the outcome. You have a way with fantastical flavors to season your words. Another great piece.
