    City Limits

    Racing Racing down hazy highways
    Destination becoming clear
    Accelerating into unseen demensions
Where unspeakable entities await my arrival

The streetlights above masking the stars
    Not moving but floating
    Yes
    It isn't so bad here

    Where all speak in riddles
Where masked faces glide through dense fog
    Opague windows
    Eyes transparent

Racing Racing past the City Limits
To a place that does not exist
A palace drifting through a forgotten eclipse

I chased snakes down marble staricases
    I was leader of ceremonies
    Hostess of balls
    Keeper of mania

    Dancing dancing through scarlet halls
    Dusty fragments of syllables
    Floating through the void
    Like a dead perfume

    Speed increased
    Making the windshield shatter
As my laughter turned to ecstasy

I had no desire to pick up the broken glass

    Here, nowhere
    I united as I shattered

Here in dungeons that were palaces

    Here, Home
    Beyond the City Limits

Very nice!I felt the breath of a journey exhaling in my spine for me to get up and take a drive with an uknown destination.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
