    Nick

Tis the dawn of our love
Dew drops on the satin feathers of a dove
As the years go by the dawn will break
For the lazy sun begins to wake

I will be there watching as your hair frosts in the high noon
I will be there as the roses bloom in jolly June
I will be there with you on August's sultry nights
And I will be there to guide you through January's wicked frostbite

I will stand beisde you as the tired sun begins to set and our bodies become frail
I will be your shelter in February's unforgiving hail
And when my hand becomes a withered arthritis sore
I will still find a way to wrap it around yours

For now is the dawn of the life we will spend together
Now is the time of our fair weather
But as our lives pass us by I will never need to search for a reason
To stand beside you through every type of season

For our love is so strong it will carry on from this world to the next
As the sun becomes fully set in the west

This poem is a beautiful decloration of your love. Nick is a lucky guy.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
