CRAZY BUS RIDE

Up and down the street we go
Very bumpy everyday
I take this crazy bus ride
To work to earn my pay

Priority seating for seniors
Special seating - there's a few
We enjoy the complex scenery
Skyscrapers and businesses too

Hold on for the nasty turns
Thank God just to get a seat
Here comes the lively teenagers
As they talk and swear and eat

Some days the bus arrives late
Then it becomes crowded too
The passengers begin to complain
Of what they're going to do

Some say they'll drive to work
Others called the CTA
None of which changed the situation
Their bickering was all in vain

Tomorrow is another day
I hope the bus arrives on time
To get to my place of employment
I must take this crazy bus ride.

i know of what u speak , for a long time we had no car and had to take that crazy bus ride..................

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
