    Crush

    Do you believe in love at first sight?
    I'm not sure I do, but if I'm right
    Everytime I see your face, I'm there
    In a place where I don't care
    About age or myths of how love should be
    I can only think, of you and me
    And sometimes when you smile at me
        I seem to melt can others see?

    I can't think... have to tell myself to breathe
    My heart beats so fast, I can't conceive
    I know it's wrong but I believe
    In love and passion and taking a chance
    On something that might be romance
    Every word you say to me
       Seems like a song in harmony

    I know that you're just passing time
    But what you say stays on my mind
    I fantasize the day will come
    When you will say "You are the one"
    I will allow into my world
    My thoughts are like a silly girl

    I'm not sure if you can understand
    I'll take it slow and hope you can
    Find a feeling in your heart
    Something real, would be a start
    Look deeper than the eye can see
    Make this dream a reality

    Together we  could have some fun
    Share a love and when we're done
    Look back on good times that we shared
    Let's take a chance, you seem to care?

    I think love is such a great thing. I'm so greatful that I have a partner in my life that I love. This poem reminds me of how I feel waking up and feeling blessed to know that I'm loved! Great stuff.

    very nice poem aza, i especially enjoyed the italicized lines, it was as if you were speaking under your breath, or like it was a private thought....very cool, you write very well
