Love Letter
To live life without fantasy
Would be the end of me you see
I'm enraptured by your smile
Telling myself all the while
Someday you'll be with me.
This is truly a fantasy.
Allow this fantasy to grow
You might like where it will go
I don't expect you to understand
When you came into my life, and took my hand
You opened a door that I kept closed
Where my emotions overflowed
I've waited for someone like you
To make my wildest dreams come true
It's hard for me to explain
Just how your love helps me maintain
My sanity from day to day
You give me strength along the way
To bear the obstacles life gives,
Provides me with a reason to live
Another day of being with you
Is kinda like a dream come true.
I know that your love is real
The thought alone just makes me feel
I want to shout, I want to scream
This is real, it's not a dream.
So I thank you everyday
In the things I do, an the things I say
You are my every dream come true
That's why I'm so in awe of you.
