    Diamond Fall [PART ONE]

    The Grey backdrop of contrast,
    A grace,
    A framework,
    A spacious canvas
    Is the setting for diamond fall.

    The luminous glory,
    A ribbon-ed highway of Colors,
    Three,
    Complete necklaces
    Of purest angel bright;
    Brilliant Bands,
    Red,
    Orange,
    Yellow to
    Green,
    Blue,
    Indigo,
    And Violet true;
    Honest and beautiful,
    A lucky joy,
    To mesmerize by fleeting sight,
    Water's gift,
    To the open air
    Circled gateways of light.

    Forms set to meaning,
    To transcend image,
    To transcend transient metaphors,
    By dream or Thought

    Diamonds fall,
    But fly to Earth
    In grace;
    To nurture my soul,
    Your Soul,
    All Souls,
    Who should gaze to see,
    Irrespective of S p a c e,
    Race or Creed.

    Beautiful! You surely know of the interconnected web of all beings and your praise of the LIght is inspiring.

    Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
