We were together on the bottom of the ship…just you and me…shackled by hand and foot…I loved you so much then…you were my King…you were the bravest, the strongest, the most courageous of them all, how could I not love such greatness… you were the man that God had given to me…and I knew that you loved me every time you looked into my eyes…. I was your Queen, the woman that God had given to you…after a long painful journey to a strange land we found ourselves face to face with evil in its purest form…we all know how the story goes but no one ever talks about how I lost you… and what you may not even know is that I have spent a lifetime trying to get you back…whenever we thought that evil had performed his most horrific act and reached his depth…we found that evil was capable of descending even further…naturally we became afraid for we were not accustomed to this type of evil…The first night that evil came into your house and had his way with me, you never looked at me the same…when I reached for you, you pulled away…with the dawn of a new day, I held my head down in shame…I the mother of everything civilized was now cheapened and reduced to an animal…I was given rags to wear, I worked in the hot sun for what seemed like forever…yes I was sweaty, musty and tired as hell…but that didn’t stop evil from coming…soon the babies began to come…some were yours some were not…Today here I sit longing for that familiar touch…Evil is now an option that I opt not to choose …for only my King will do.
