    Poem Commentary

I'm sure we all have felt this.

    Every day.

I wake up every morning on the wrong side of the bed.

I don't know if it's meaningless to say what's in my head.

I know today will bring new life to what's already dead.

If I could just release myself from all the things I dread.

I hate to have to go to work were all I do is drive.

I've traveled many places but it seems I'm not alive.

I long to live the life I seek but not while on this ride.

Perhaps today's the day I find what's missing in my life.

Sometimes I think I've lost my way and wasted the whole day.

I know I'm not the only one who's ever felt this way.

The evening comes while on this path as fast as I can say.

Tomorrow's just another day that is like yesterday.

Congratulations, you have beautifully captured the frustrating monotony that comes with the everyday grind. You are right we have all been there! From these seemingly pointless times come important transitions, that will soon propel you forward! Nice work!
