    F you

    F you
    Selfish self-centered self-obsessed
    Incapable of thinking beyond yourself
Concerned only with how things affect you

    F you
    Shallow vapid insipid
    Form, image, appearance is everything
    As your life falls apart
    You worry about your hair

    F you
    Reckless irresponsible immature
Consequences are for others to bear
    Your carelessness becomes flesh
    And you can’t cope

    F you
    Analytic asinine rationalization
You will get what you deserve
    But not what you expect

    F you
    Dishonest disingenuous delusional
    Do you believe your fabrications?
    Or are they just convenient?

"As your life falls apart...you worry about your hair". That's my favorite line of this poem.

Very funny. Reminds me of a song I found on a discarded casstte tape one time the only somg on it was the tittle of this poem. lol Thanks!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
