Family is togetherness and foreverness full of ups and downs, loves lost and found, new beginnings, unhappy endings filled with mixed emotions spinning round and round…..damn family..

Family is grandma's blues, chillin with cousins after school. Weddings, showers, funeral flowers, baby momma drama, Hand me downs, skeleton closets, hospital and courtrooms, family reunions and family feuding…..damn family

We are a melting pot of mama's favorites, black sheep, thugs; a few weed heads, ghetto mamas, Auntie Jims and Uncle Janes! Those lets keep it real ones screaming lets go back to the mother land ones, those aint quite right seeing demons in the night ones, those in church on Sunday raise hell on Monday ones " and you want to teach me how to be saved huh!" Those edumucated ones and those high siddity ones that done forgot where the come from ones who think they are better than you and everyone else!

When we all got the same blood running through our veins, come from the same tree, cut from the same cloth where the hell do they get off?! Unfortunately when it comes to family we are not afforded the luxury of pick and choose so we can sit and sing the woe woe blues but what good would that do? Cause family is love and hate, good and bad, mixed and matched never … and … exact …science. Our family tree was confused from the start it produced fruits and nuts! Damn aint that something?

Family should be about building each other up instead of tearing each other down, loving each other instead of finding ways to hurt one another. All the backstabbing, secrets, lies, supercilious views, down right Phucked up attitudes and our relentless…persistence in the…preservation of…resentment and other painful remnants of life have gone on far too long.

Family stop holding on the past suck it up and move on, get those skeletons out the closet. Hell, bury them in the cemetery where they belong. Cause life is too short for silly shit people and pain lasts too long!!! Set things right while you're here! Cause tomorrow is not promised just like (snap) that, you're gone!!!

So get off your pedestals, step down off your thrones, dismount your high horse and put down your stones.
