Poem Commentary

I wrote this in high school

Fate

My motivation has left me,
All teary eyed I sit and wait
for his return to set me free
I soon unvail our fate.

She spreads her wings and flys afar
A black angel trys to anew her ways
She left with an anguishing scar
Shes left to fly alone for days.

Her heart is weakend from the thought of him
A picture of him she always keeps
The memories will never dim
A single tear is all she weeps.

Soon again Ill hold his hand
Obession is a word I always find
Togeather again I understand
Even apart were togeather in mind.

Very retrospective. Many of us have gone through these days, your emotions are mirrored. human feelings are deep and when truly touched gets carved in your heart, being your shadow in life. I enjoyed your poem. Thank you. a 10 from me

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
