    Father

    My father is the greatest,
He will be forever and ever,
    My father is the funniest,
    He never says never.

He will always be my protection,
He holds what is most dear to me,
He enjoys all of my creations,
    And he will always be.

I love him till the end of the Earth,
I will always depend on him,
He is all that I'm worth,
We are alike down to every limb.

    He always keeps me wishing,
No matter what trouble I'm in,
We always love to go fishing,
He will always be there till the very end!!

I love this poem about your dad! It reminds me of my own dad.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
