Fear
Why do I fearI have no clue
Fear overcomes me
I look for God when I am
fearful he gives me comfort
I was fearful as a child
of the shadows in the dark
though as an adult the shadows
they still haunt me.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
