    First Love

Your kiss is intoxicating, you draw me in
I look into your eyes and a new world begins
Your touch so gentle I shiver with delight
This new sensation almost gives me a fright
Your fingers gently dance against my skin
The way you make me feel I'm sure it's a sin
Your big, strong arms wrap around my waist
My heart once steady now beats at a wild pace
You roll over me and stare down from above
I look up at the face of my first love

Ah, innocence and ardor! The wonder is never sin, but can lead to it. Thank God for that joyful fever called first love.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.
