Fools

Fools

Fools laugh at mistakes
and then make some more...
they laugh at misfortune like
poverty or war...
They laugh at polution
of land seas and skies.
They continued to laugh as all
wildlife dies.
They laugh at those starving
for food and for love,
They laugh at the thought of peace,
The white dove.
They are fools we all say
For how can they laugh
in such a cruel way?
When all the world is gone
from the mistakes that we've made,
Will the fools still laugh
As they dig their own graves?
