    For Jeanette

A memory from my past or are you?
But your never just the past, you're a friend.
A friend even through the distance.
My trustee, even though it's been years without
Talking. It's weird how years may pass
but we still cool. How I really wasn't one of
The best a friend could be at first, but I still tried.
Even though I could have done better. alot Better.
But i've said sorry enough and all I can do is make
The future different. I'm trying to be a
Better friend now, putting the past where it
Belong IN the past. Not to be brought up.
How with a quick message, a little
Text or even a call can get me closer to
you than any other thing will ever
    Possibly do.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
