Forever Departed

Forever Departed

As I lay here dreaming
of time we have lost
to games that were played
and love that was fought.
His soul now waves tenderly
a smile on his face
now knowing the truth
for the years we have wasted
May we now say goodbye
to the kindest of hearts
we have always love you
though ever departed.

As I lay here dreaming
of the time we have lost
to games that were played
and the trust we have sought.

His soul now waves tenderly
a smile on his face
now knowing the truth
for the years we have wasted

May we now say goodbye
to the kindest of hearts
we will always love you
though ever departed.
