A friend is the best place to run when there arent any other places,
that person who makes you face your fears when you cant embrace them.
When lightning is flashing and thunder is crashing,
when your in that vulnerable place, you dont know whats gonna happen.

This person comes along hating to see you cry,
they wanna know whats going on but you think they'll run out of time.
So you hide it in yourself, puts it back on the shelf,
not knowing how much time they had or how they felt.

A companion is someone who will always be there,
through blood, sweat, and tears no matter what time of year.
Act like they not scared but scared more than you,
Unlike a friend, their time is unlimited, they'll always see you through.

A companion can be rough
you'll find yourselves arguing over stupid things.
such as who saw what first maybe even over guys
you could even argue for a couple of nights.

I hate to say this, I dont mean to be cruel
but maybe your companion is just a friend thats true.
