    Glorious Moon

The sight of the moon at it's full beauty,
shinning and shimmering at it's fullest,
being covered like a blanket slowly and surely like a mother covering her child from the cold,
    slowly the earth's shadow,
making a blanket over the moon,
making more beauty as it envelopes the glorious moon,
finally it has it completely covered and you can see,
the glorious splendor peeking around the edges,
like a child peeking outside their bedroom door on Christmas,
then as slowly as it started,
it fades away once again showing the full beauty of the bright glorious moon

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
