    Like A Bird

    Like a bird in flight
    Wings spread wide open
Soaring, the wind warm beneath me
    Above the tree tops
    Over the majestic oceans
    By the beautiful mountains
    To spread my wings
    To soar above the clouds
Feel the breeze blowing on my face
    My body
To dip my feet in the cool mountain stream
    Close my eyes
Smell the sweet aroma of the wildflowers
    To see something new
The beauty around and above me
    To experience
    To dream wide awake
To be like a bird in flight

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
