    Poem Commentary

    This was written in 2007. I should make it clear that I DO NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM FEEL THIS WAY ANY MORE. It was written in a bout of depression.

    God's Mistake

     I was made differently
    but not in a good way.
    I'm not overly pretty
    and I'm not a musical genius.
    I'm socially awkward
    and I always feel like a freak.
    I'm God's mistake.
    I can't have real friends
    or a love to call my own.
    It's hard to feel so strange
    Even in the most crowded of rooms.
    I'm by myself.
    I'm God's mistake.

    Sweetheart, you are NOT a mistake... this is an expression of the darkness of your feelings, which is OK to let out rather than hold it in... but you must know that God loves you and He does NOT make mistakes. BTW, I know how you feel. I have felt like this too, but I know I'm not a mistake. When you get the chance, please read my poems entitled "Messenger" "Invisible," "You Are Somebody," and "Sunshine on a Winter's Day." God bless you...

    when i was younger i often felt this way... as i got older i embraced my unique qualities and got more comfortable in my skin... everyone feels this way from time to time but you have figure out who you are and realize the things that you consider faults are the same things that set you apart from the crowd and make you unique

    Oh but I beg to differ you are NOT a mistake . It is the limitations of human beings that cause unfortunate *judgments* as to what is "beautiful."what is "genius"what is "different"what is "acceptable" and numerous "what is" Perhaps you can think of yourself as irreplaceable for In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different. You are irreplaceable there is NOT another you and there is not another me , it's what makes us unique and irreplaceable , I love that you are sharing how you feel through your words
