Poem Commentary

This is just kind of an open piece. Not sure about it. Might as well post it.

Line-By-Line Rant

You don’t know.

You have no idea

What I have fought

What I have been through

Every time I get my hopes up

They get destroyed again.

Every day

I have to pretend

To be happy.

I don’t trust men

At all.

I worked hard

To get so many male friends.

It’s a battle.

A battle that some of them don’t know about.

This is so hard.

Everything’s breaking again.

I really can’t take any more bad news.

I want to die.

Excellent, and thankfully, entirely outdated, poem.

I like the explanation through out the poem of how you feel and how alone you are. How others don't understand what it is like to be you and to be accepted. It is like your an outcast in a world you built. Now in the world you built your allone and more bad things to come and you want out or to die in your expression. Very unique.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
