    GOOD INTENTIONS

In your eyes I saw something I thought could be mine
I didn't know it was me I was searching for all that time....
I don't blame you for not being the hero I needed, I just saw so much in you and didn't want it to be wasted
'Cause so few of us get the chance to be the leader of the dance; maybe I expected you to throw caution to the wind and just dive right in....
Risking everything (like I always do)

After all this time I've finally learned to forgive you for resisting
But will you forgive me my persistance?
Now that I'm strong enough to set you free
My friend you no longer have to suffer me
    and all my good intentions.
