    YEARS FROM NOW

    Smokey bar and crazy music
Isn't this where it all started? I see your eyes...that familiar stare
Finding me in the crowd somehow, and following me everywhere.

So where do I turn now? Where should I run?
Cause it's over and it's hurting
    You were the only one.

Memories to time we wasted, so young and full of anger
So young and full of pain
So many late nights and hot stage lights
all the laughter fading into the rain...
we were loving, loving and so much touching
    but it's all gone now
    never be the same.

I know I have to walk away and accept this end without a fight
while defeat creeps in so quietly, just like a lonely night.
I guess I should have held on tighter, loved you deeper
Been your lover and your keeper
But it's too late now, much too late.

Goodbye, goodbye. Big girls don't cry, but still we feel the pain.
Put my heart in lost and found, time to end this game.
Maybe I'll see you someday again
    Somewhere around...
    Years from now
But it'll never be the same.
