Good Morning Love

Good Morning Love,
Your coquetry is sweet, divine in fact.
You entice me and I think that we should coact.
Your voice, your air; enveloping me.
And your sincerity is showcased gracefully.
Your spirit is animated and slightly reflects mine.
Your air is noble, patient, firm and refine.
But I must know, Do you feel the same for me Love?
When my name is mentioned what do you think of?
Love, when I look in your eyes what do you see?
When you gaze into me are you empty?
Can I ask you? Am I enough?
Am I Love Am I?
Goodnight Love.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
