Hands of Time
I'd like to stopthe hands of time,
that clutters up our minds
with unwanted hours
and days gone by.
So full of hurt.
But, I wouldn't want them
to remain.
To make us lie,
and wonder
why things were the same.
Hands of Time
I'd like to stopPoetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
