    Happy Belated Bday Mama

I know this kind of late but here I go. I love you because I choose to not because I have to.
Our relationship now sometimes surprises me,I sit back like "WHOA".
I'm glad you're in my life, this was none of us lose.
I don't remember you much as a child,as I reached adulthood you kept me mild.
I enjoy the fact that I can actually open up to you,I never imagined you and I this cool.
I'm glad I'm your daughter and that you're my mother. Given the oppurtunity to choose,I'd choose no other.
I know this isn't on your birthday,it's quite late. But this way you have two days to celebrate.
So know that I love you although you're a cyclon. And God bless all who deal with you especially Sean.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
