    happy memories

tracing my steps deep into the shadows of the past
those days when I was young in your arms
I saw you burry many dreams behind your smiles
to build a family where your children are your source of joy
I remember every Sacrifice you made like an Archangel
nurturing me fine, and standing by to calm my Strife

here on earth, with all the Battles to fight
you made me grow in skills of home and life
to show love to a stranger who came to the door
and above everything to give my heart to the one I love
Mother dear, you are Essential to my life
and there is none so Beautiful, so Nice to call my Mother

sometimes, I look at the flower, Rose
its Beauty and Glimmer, they remind me
of the Magnificence of your inner Self
a Mother so Pure, so Gentle, a Mother
    whose thought I’ll forever cherish

Mom, when I think of you today
you are the Woman who gave me the World
told me of a God who cares for my dreams
so, as the Years go by and when I too grow old,
I will remember the pains you endured for me
and I will assure my children you are a Grandmother
for whom my Love and Appreciation, no words can ever tell
