Thump, thump, thump
I can feel my chest beat
knowing this motion keeps me alive
I wonder how it will be when there
is complete silence and my heart will beat
no more.
Heartbeat, the center of all living beings
to see my children daily is invaluable
they are my life, my heartbeat.
